-Because of an editing error, a front-page article last week about University President Jehuda Reinharz lamenting the cost of former President Jimmy Carter's campus visit referred incorrectly to the faculty meeting at which he spoke. The meeting took place Feb. 1; it did not take place Feb. 2. (Feb. 6, p. 1)
-An article in News last week about students planning a visit to the Middle East referred incorrectly to plans for the trip. A student organizing the trip said the group may visit Israel; he did not say the group would definitely visit Israel proper in addition to the Palestinian territories. (Feb. 6, p. 3)
-Because of an editing error, an article in News last week about Aramark switching over to oils free of trans fats referred incorrectly to trans fats as saturated. They are unsaturated. (Feb. 6, p. 3)
-Last week's police log omitted the credit. It was compiled by Claire Moses. (Feb. 6, p. 2)
-An article last week in Arts about the Idan Raichel concert referred incompletely yo the groups who organized the show. The show was organized by Hillel, Student Events and the Brandeis Zionist Alliance; it was not organized by Hillel alone. (Feb. 6, p. 21)
-The headline for an op-ed last week by Alan Dershowtiz incorrectly implied that Dershowitz believes Norman Finkelstein shouldn't be allowed to speak at Brandeis. While Dershowitz is critical of Finkelstein's scholarship on the Middle East, Dershowitz did not say Finkelstein should be barred from speaking on campus. (Feb. 6, p. 8)
