The front-page article about the Intercultural Center's 15th anniversary incorrectly stated that former ICC director Phyllis Brown '87 attended its luncheon; she did not. (Mar. 6, p. 1)
The front-page article about the visits of Norman Finkelstein and Daniel Pipes referred incompletely to the title of Pipes' proposed program. His program is called "The Islamization of Europe?" (Mar. 6, p .1)
Because of an editing error, an article about the Transitional Year Program incorrectly attributed statements to its director, Erika Smith. Associate Director of Admissions Robert Andrews, not Smith, said during the event that TYP students have had to overcome incredible adversity. (Mar. 6, p. 6)
Due to a reporting error, the same article incorrectly listed the amount of money raised by the faculty to start the Transitional Year Program. The faculty raised $12,000, not $12 million. The article misstated that the faculty went door-to-door to raise the money. (Mar. 6, p. 6)
The article about the club sports agreement incorrectly reported that the Student Union and Athletics Department reached an agreement on how to restructure the program last year. They only reached a funding agreement late last year; an agreement on the rest of the proposal was not reached until last month. (Mar. 6, p. 3)
In the same article, it was incorrectly implied that there is a formal club sports program. While club sports are funded by the Student Union's finance board currently, there is no club sports program now. (Mar. 6, p. 3)
In the same article, Jean Eddy's title was referred to imprecisely. She is the Senior Vice President for Students and Enrollment. (Mar. 6, p. 3)
Due to an editing error, the byline of an article about student films at SunDeis incorrectly referred to Kate Gardiner as a Justice editor. She is actually a staff writer. (Mar. 6, p. 21)
Due to an editing error, the pull quote accompanying the article about a rookie basketball player was incorrectly attributed to Coach Carol Simon. (Mar. 6, p. 31)
