Senator-at-Large Andrew Brooks '09 introduced a bylaw seeking to simplify the language in a previous bylaw discussing the requirements for chartering and recognizing clubs. A compromise was reached by adding several portions of the original bylaw back in and the new bylaw was passed.
A resolution, proposed by Village Quad Senator Adam Breiterman '07 and Senator for the Class of 2010 Rajiv Ramakrishnan, stating the Union's support for Virginia Tech in light of the recent tragedy, was passed.
