Open Debate
The Brandeis Academic Debate and Speech Society will be debating about the prospect of a nuclear Iran. Desert will be served. Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Shapiro Campus Center Atrium. For more information, contact jsaffir@brandeis.edu.
Peace Vigil
Brandeis chaplains will hold a weekly peace vigil reminding the community to be mindful of the war in Iraq and to express hope for a just and speedy resolution. Thursday from 12:10 to 12:30 p.m. at the Peace Memorial outside Usdan Student Center.
Middle East in '08 Campaign
University President Jehuda Reinharz will introduce a program about Middle East topics to be considered in the 2008 presidential campaign. The program will be moderated by Prof. Daniel T. Kryder, and will feature Crown Director Shai Feldman as well. Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Rapaporte Treasure Hall in Goldfarb. Massell Mingle
Come to Massell Quad for popcorn, mocktails, mingling and more. Thursday from 7:30 to 11 p.m. in Shapiro Hall, Massell Quad.
Reinharz Office Hours
University President Jehuda Reinharz will hold office hours with students for approximately 10 minutes each on a first-come, first-served basis. He will hold office hours several more times this semester. Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Irving 113 in the Bernstein Marcus/Gryzmish Administration Building. For more information, call x63001 and call on Monday to confirm that no changes have been made.
LTS Information Session
Officials from Library and Technology Services will hold an information session for students on how to protect themselves from lawsuits and their computers from viruses. Monday at 6 p.m. in Shapiro Lounge. For more information, contact Elliot Kendall at ekendall@brandeis.edu.
