Following a long discussion, four Assistant Treasurers, one Special Counselor and one Executive Assistant to Union Treasurer Choon?Woo Ha '08, were all confirmed and sworn in at Sunday evening's Senate meeting. Ha unveiled his new Web site. The treasurer.org contains all information and forms related to the Office of the Treasury. Forms can be filled out on the Web site and mailed directly to the necessary contacts.

The Hip Hop Club requested and was granted a name change to Hipnois: Brandeis' Hip Hop Dance Team.

Union President Shreeya Sinha '09 said that after discussions with Vice President for Capital Projects Dan Feldman about construction in Ridgewood they agreed to move heavier construction to later in the day for less disruption to Ziv and the Village residents.

Provost Marty Krauss will come to the Senate next week to discuss construction.

Representatives from Students for Environmental Action requested that Senators sign a petition urging University President Jehuda Reinharz to commit to a President Climate Commitment, an intiative to increase Brandeis' environmental sustainability.

Diverse City requested to be chartered. The discussion was centered around the group's plans to remain a section of the Hoot, for a time period between a few weeks and a year before they completely separate.

Julia Simon-Mishel '09 was confirmed and sworn in as the appointed representative to the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee.
