Medical Emergency
Sept. 11-An individual called to report that a student in the Foster biomedical labs cut her foot. The student was treated at the scene by BEMCo and refused further medical aid.
Sept. 13-BEMCo treated a female student in Ziv Quad for a blister. The student refused further medical assistance.
Vandalism
Sept. 11-An unidentified group of students moved the Massell Pond fountainhead to a nearby lawn. A grounds crew returned the fountainhead to the pond.
Disturbance
Sept. 12-Students in the Foster Mods complained about a loud group in the upper Mods. University Police quieted the crowd and there were no further problems.
Larceny
Sept. 12-A student reported that his Mongoose mountain bike had been stolen from the Goldfarb Library. An officer found the bike in the woods behind Brown last Wednesday. The owner was informed that the bicycle had been recovered.
Sept. 12-A student reported that his laptop computer was stolen from Rosenthal Quad. The suspect unlocked and entered the suite befor he stole the $1,500 laptop from an unlocked bedroom.
Sept. 13-A student parked in East Quad lot had an iPod, FM transmitter and digital Kodak camera in plain view in the passenger compartment of the car. An unknown suspect smashed the driver's side window and stole the electronic gear.
Traffic
Sept. 12-A staff member reported that his car was struck and damaged while it was parked in the Bernstein-Marcus lot. Police are following up the incident with a video review.
Miscellaneous
Sept. 13-There was a kitchen fire in the Village. A plastic cutting board was left on the heating element and caught fire. University Police extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher. The Waltham?Fire Department checked the scene and gave the all clear.
