Medical Emergency
Oct. 17-A caller in Ziv Quad reported that her finger was turning blue and requested BEMCo. BEMCo treated the party on-scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Oct. 19-A student in the Village cut her hand on glass. The student was treated and transported to the health center by BEMCo.
Oct. 20-A caller on South Street reported that her friend had a reaction to her prescribed medication. The individual was transported by BEMCo to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Oct. 20-A BEMCo member in the Shapiro Campus Center requested BEMCo assistance for a female suffering from severe abdominal cramps. Additional units responded, and treated the student and transported her to the health center for further care.
Miscellaneous
Oct. 18-A caller in the science complex reported a chemical spill of acrylamide in a lab. Officials were notified, and the area was deemed safe by University radiation safety officers who handled the cleanup.
Traffic Accident
Oct. 16-There was a two-car accident in Admissions Lot. There were no reported injuries, and University Police compiled a report on the accident.
Larceny
Oct. 19-A poster advertising a speaker was reported missing from Pearlman. University Police compiled a report.
Oct. 21-A staff member in the science complex reported two missing tape dispensers and an Ethernet cable. University Police compiled a report on the incident, and additional patrols of the area will be performed.
Disturbance
Oct. 20-A caller in Charles River reported a large group yelling outside. The group was dispersed.
Oct. 20-A caller in the Foster Mods complained about a loud party. The group was dispersed.
