Medical Emergency
Nov. 13-An individual felt faint in the Shapiro Campus Center. The patient refused medical treatment by BEMCo.
Nov. 13-A male in Massell Quad felt ill because of a stomach problem. BEMCo transported the individual to an urgent facility for further care.
Nov. 14-A caller in Ziv Quad reported that a male was hit by a FedEx car by the construction site. An ambulance transported the individual to Lahey Clinic.
Nov. 15-A caller in the Usdan Student Center reported an individual suffering from a bleeding eyebrow, after a sports injury. BEMCo responded and transported the student to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital for further care.
Nov. 15-A caller in the Usdan Student Center reported that a female student had fallen off the stage. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital for further care.
Nov. 15-Two students in Ziv Quad were transported to the hospital for alcohol overconsumption.
Nov. 16-A person in North Quad reported a pain in her knee. BEMCo treated the student on-scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Traffic
Nov 13-There was a two-car accident in front of the Gosman Sports and Convocations Center. No injuries were reported. Waltham police handled the accident on South Street.
Nov. 15-An individual drove a car into a pile of stones, thinking it was the driveway to a Brandeis building. There were no injuries, and the vehicle was towed off the wall.
Miscellaneous
Nov. 15-A suspicious white male with long grey hair wearing a brown shirt and jeans was seen walking through the Shapiro Campus Center with a plastic bag. University Police inspected the area but was unable to locate the man.
Larceny/Theft
Nov. 16-A caller from the science complex reported that her backpack was missing from her office. No report was filed.
Disturbance
Nov. 18-A female staff member reported that she had been harassed by a student. University Police compiled a report, and an investigation will follow.
Vandalism
Nov. 18-An individual reported four slashed tires on one of the BranVans. The vehicle was towed from the Charles river lower road.
