Medical Emergency
Sept. 19-A reporting party in Massell Quad informed University Police of a female who fell and hit her head in the women's bathroom. BEMCo and Police responded to the scene, and an ambulance transported the party to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Sept. 20-University Police in Gosman Sports and Convocation Center advised BEMCo that there was a sick party in the main lobby. BEMCo responded, and the patient refused medical attention.
Sept. 20-BEMCo advised University Police in Gosman Sports and Convocation Center of an intoxicated male who was vomiting and could not stand on his own. An ambulance transported the party to the emergency room.
Sept. 20-A reporting party in Massell Quad informed University Police of an intoxicated, unresponsive male in the bathroom. BEMCo and University Police responded, and an ambulance took the patient to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Sept. 20-An individual in North Quad informed University Police that her friend had stomach pain. BEMCo and University Police responded to the scene and BEMCo transported the party to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Larceny
Sept. 15-An individual in the Shapiro Campus Center reported a stolen bag with $2,500 in it after it was left on a table unattended. University Police compiled a report.
Sept. 16-An individual reported that after he delivered a package to Brown, he discovered that one of the packages in his truck was gone. University Police compiled a report.
Sept. 17-An individual in the Rabb Graduate School reported that someone took $345 in cash from an unlocked office drawer in the administration assistance office. University Police compiled a report.
Traffic
Sept. 20-Waltham Police were contacted to respond to a motor vehicle accident reported on South Street with injury. Waltham Fire Department and an ambulance arrived on scene.
Vandalism
Sept. 16-University Police compiled a report on the unauthorized use of a piece of heavy equipment at Spingold.
Sept. 19-University Police reported that a vehicle damaged the front lawn of the Physics building. University Police compiled a report.
Disturbance
Sept. 20-An individual in Athletics Lot reported a possible fight and heard loud screaming and yelling. The verbal argument was between two parties. The issue was resolved, and the parties went their separate ways.
Miscellaneous
Sept. 17-An individual reported someone breaking beer bottles on Charles River Road. Officers checked the surrounding area and did not find people or broken glass. The reporting party declined to speak with officers.
Sept. 17-A Community Development Coordinator in North Quad reported that he found drugs in an apartment. University Police responded to confiscate the contraband and filed a report. Residence Life staff will file charges.
Sept. 20-University Police with Waltham Police investigated individuals who were smoking marijuana in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. Police removed all parties from the concert.
