Medical Emergency
Nov. 3-A party in Rosenthal Quad reported that a female student took six sleeping pills. University Police and BEMCo responded. The student was transported via ambulance to the Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Nov. 4-A student in East Quad reported feeling ill. BEMCo responded and treated the student on-scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Nov. 4-A student in North Quad requested BEMCo for cardiac problems. BEMCo and University Police responded and transported the student to University Health Services.
Nov. 4-A party in Usdan Student Center reported that a female student wanted help from BEMCo because she was choking. BEMCo and University Police responded and treated the individual on-scene.
Nov. 5-A party reported that a 21-year-old female student was taken by her Community Development Coordinator to the Mailman building and would be required to have a psychiatric evaluation. The student was transported via ambulance to the Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Nov. 7-A party in the Kalman building reported that a female was not feeling well. BEMCo transported her to the Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Nov. 7-A party in North Quad reported that she injured her foot. BEMCo responded and treated the student on-scene with a signed refusal for futher care.
Nov. 8-A party in North Quad reported that an 18-year-old female with a history of neurological problems was suffering from an episode. The student was conscious and alert and not on medication. University Police and BEMCo responded. She was transported via ambulance to the Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Larceny
Nov. 3-A party reported that he left his Dell laptop unattended in the Bassine science building, and when he returned it was gone. University Police compiled a report. Library and Technology Services was advised to attempt to track the stolen laptop on the University network.
Nov. 8-A staff member in Epstein reported stolen items from a workshop. University Police compiled a report. There was no forced entry reported.
Disturbance
Nov. 5-A noise complaint was reported on Angleside Road. University Police located the loud music, but the officer was unable to make contact with the resident. The Community Development Coordinator opened the room, and the music was turned off without incident.
Nov. 5-A student complained about the volume of noise coming from students outside on Charles River Road. University Police spoke to the group outside and advised the students to quiet down.
Nov. 6-A noise complaint was filed against a number of loud individuals within a room in Rosenthal Quad. University Police responded to the scene and confiscated a small amount of Class D drugs. University judicial charges will be sought.
Miscellaneous
Nov. 6-University Police issued a written trespass notice to a non-student who was seen in Usdan Student Center. The party was escorted off University property without incident.
Nov. 7-A party reported that someone in Ziv Quad burned a paper in the lobby of building 128. University Police responded and compiled a report. There was no damage to University property.
