You've probably seen it on CNN. Maybe you've heard the news blaring from a car stereo passing by on the street. It's a day that will undoubtedly leave its mark upon the hearts and minds of pop enthusiasts everywhere: The Cheetah Girls have decided to call it quits after their six year run. Yes, it's true: Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan and Kiely Williams will disband the group upon the completion of their One World Tour on Dec. 22.
The dream team known as The Cheetah Girls was originally formed in 2002 for a made-for-TV Disney movie based upon a book series of the same name by Deborah Gregory. The movie soared with popularity, bringing rapid success to the foursome. However, tragedy struck the girls early in 2004 after member Raven-Symoné chose to leave the band and pursue her own solo endeavors. Though her motives remained murky at the time, it was generally agreed upon by the public that her actions were, indeed, so Raven.
The Girls chose to persevere without her, with additional movies, albums, world tours, video games, perfume lines, a line of dolls and home décor. The group even managed to secure a toothbrush deal in 2006.
Since then, it's been a bit rough for the ladies. They've made some recent mistakes, like when Adrienne's nude webcam pictures accidently leaked to the internet this month and caused a massive furor within the blogosphere. And they've only had one actual "hit" in their entire career (2007's "Fuego," which peaked at an impressive 122 on the Billboard charts).
But does any of that take away from the group's perfection? Please. One need only hear a few of their spiciest numbers, including "Amigas Cheetahs," "Cheetah Sisters" and "Cheetah Love" to know that the Girls were always one step ahead of the game.
Naturally, then, the break now comes as a crippling blow to most fans. With the holiday season looming above our heads, it seems ever crueler to hear those opening notes to the classic "Cheetah-licious Christmas" these days.
No doubt, we will always remember-I know I'll be telling great tales of The Cheetah Sisters to my own adopted spawn. So fare thee well, Holy Sisters of Cheetah. May your spots shine brightly within the glossy pages of Playboy magazine.

Perhaps you should have done a bit more research into the current and upcoming projects of at least one of the members of the Cheetah girls (who I can assure you will not be gracing the pages of Playboy magazine). (Continued…)

You were all over the place with this article, so it was hard to determine if you were a fan or being sarcastic. TCG sold millions of CG's so obviously people like their music. (Continued…)

I think you should did a little more research, why? because your article doesn't seem to make sense.. like they [tcg] are one of the big time faves to little kids and older one alike. (Continued…)

The Cheetah Girls have many loyal fans----of ALL ages. As a 35 year old mother of 2 young girls, I am a proud and loyal fan, mainly of Sabrina Bryan. She is a true role model, and very gracious to her fans. (Continued…)

I am appalled by the sarcastic note of your words. The Cheetah Girls are the most successful group out of all the disney channel stars, and in my opinion, the most talented ones as well, not to mention the longevity they reached as a group. (Continued…)

How dare you, Bradley? Sabrina Bryan would never shed her dignity, not to mention her clothes, to be featured on Playboy. She's no Miley Cyrus, she's a role model! I hope you know the damage you've caused, I don't know if I can ever watch "The Cheetah Girls Go to India" without hearing your sarcastic tone in my head!

Excuse me, sir, but this article is pretty much BS. Yes, Adrienne Bailon may have slipped up with the picture scandal, but that gives you no right to sabotage her or any of the other Cheetah's dignity by going so far as to filter them into Playboy. (Continued…)
