Medical Emergency
Jan. 14-University Police and BEMCo were notified of an intoxicated student in Massell Quad. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Jan. 15-A student in the Foster Mods reported that he had been vomiting all night and felt dehydrated. University Police and BEMCo responded, and the student was treated by BEMCo. The student was transferred to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital via ambulance.
Jan. 15-A party in the Swig Center reported that she had been vomiting and felt ill. BEMCo responded but the student refused further care.
Jan. 16-University and BEMCo responded to the report of an intoxicated student in Massell Quad. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital via ambulance.
Jan. 16-Health Services notified University Police and BEMCo of a student in the Charles River Apartments who was suffering from an anxiety attack. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital by ambulance.
Jan. 17-University Police and BEMCo responded to an intoxicated student in North Quad. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital via ambulance.
Jan. 17-An intoxicated student in Massell Quad asked for University Police and BEMCo. BEMCo also treated two other intoxicated students at the scene. One student refused treatment from BEMCo, and another was transported by the ambulance to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Jan. 17-A student in Massell Quad who had previously suffered from a collapsed lung reported difficulty breathing. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital via ambulance.
Disturbance
Jan. 13-A local resident complained about the noise made by trucks during an emergency situation. The resident was informed that a water pipe had burst and needed to be immediately fixed.
Miscellaneous
Jan. 13-A student was caught trying to buy alcohol with a counterfeit ID. The student will be summoned to Waltham Court by Waltham Police.
Jan. 13-A Community Advisor in Massell Quad reported the odor of marijuana to University Police. The Community Development Coordinator on duty was notified, and it was determined that on-call Residence Life staff will oversee in-house disciplinary actions.
