In response to your editorial "University schedule too restrictive" (April 7 issue): Here, here! It is a common oversight of the University, which goes out of its way to recruit students from across the world, to neglect to factor in travel time for students who don't have the convenience of living in Massachusetts or even close-by New York. I had a three-hour plane ride home for break, and in order to get home by sundown in time for the Passover seder, I had to leave Boston at 2 p.m., which meant leaving campus by noon. How was I supposed to avoid missing classes if I wanted to go home for break just like all the other students who live nearby?
